Minnesota has become the 12th US state to legalize same sex marriage. On Wednesday 15 May Mark Dayton, the governor of Minnesota, signed the bill at the state capital in St Paul.
“What a day for Minnesota! And what a difference a year and an election can make in our state,” he said.
As the governor put pen to paper, a crowd of 6,000, waving rainbow and American flags, cheered him on despite the sweltering heat.

On Wednesday, May 15th, Jer’s Vision finished a session of anti-homophobia workshops for teachers at John F. Ross Collegiate Vocational Institute in Guelph. The visit marks the organization’s second event in the area within the span of a month.
